The National Palace of Queluz is an 18th-century palace located in Queluz, a city in the municipality of Sintra, in the district of Lisbon, in Portugal 123. The palace is a notable example of Rococo architecture in Portugal and was built as a summer retreat for D. Pedro de Bragança. The palace is often referred to as the Portuguese Versailles, despite being much smaller. The National Palace of Queluz has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.

The palace is a true architectural treasure, with its well-kept gardens, fountains, statues and outbuildings. The interior of the palace is equally impressive, with its luxuriously decorated halls, frescoes, paintings, tapestries and elegant furniture. The Hall of Ambassadors is one of the highlights of the palace, with its vaulted ceiling and impressive crystal chandelier. The Music Hall is another notable space, with its rococo-style decoration and antique musical instruments. The palace also houses a large collection of porcelain, glass and silver.

The National Palace of Queluz is a popular tourist destination in Portugal and offers a fascinating insight into the country's history and culture. If you are visiting Portugal, be sure to include the Queluz National Palace in your itinerary. You won't be disappointed!
