Zurich Walking Tour Itinerary
The tour starts on Bahnhofstrasse, one of the most elegant avenues in the world, full of refined shop windows, luxury brands and the best of Zurich’s cosmopolitan atmosphere. We then head to the charming Augustinergasse, one of the city’s oldest and most photogenic streets, with colorful facades and flags that tell stories of the past.
Soon after, we reached Lindenhofplatz, a natural lookout point with a panoramic view of the old town and the Limmat River. A quiet spot, full of history and perfect for unforgettable photos.
We continue exploring Zurich’s architectural and cultural wealth, passing St. Peter’s Church, with the largest clock tower in Europe, and the Fraumünster, famous for its stained glass windows signed by Marc Chagall and Giacometti.
A stop at the traditional Sprüngli Confectionery is a must – even if it’s just to admire its display cases with impeccable pastries. Next, we walk to the shore of Lake Zurich, where the swans float framed by the Alps in the background.
The tour ends at the Zurich Opera House, one of the city’s most elegant buildings, with its beautiful façade and privileged lakeside location.
This is a light walking tour with cultural and historical explanations and local tips, ideal for those who want to enjoy the best of Zurich in a short time.
